The crew at BRADLEY.TV absolutely loved working on the Randox corporate video recently. They are a global market leader within the in vitro diagnostics industry. Randox Laboratories develops innovative diagnostic solutions for hospitals, clinical, research and molecular labs, food testing, forensic toxicology, veterinary labs and life sciences. The fundamental challenge lay in developing the creative. We knew from the start the concept would be the key to success. From their Headquarters in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Randox operate worldwide. With offices and distribution in over 145 countries they offers customers improved efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness and flexibility.
The Randox corporate video was produced by BRADLEY.TV They asked for a ‘showreel’ style production that would make a huge impact in the complex world of diagnostics. We went cinematic and epic with world class graphics. We gave them “Bond meets business”. The brief began by the client explaining they were committed to revolutionising healthcare on a global scale and wanted to reflect this in the Randox corporate video. With over 1,300 employees globally they are dedicated to meeting their client’s testing needs. Their specialities include diagnostic reagents, clinical chemistry analysers, biochip array technology, external quality and assessment programmes. It’s a complex business with multiple facets in many vertical sectors. That’s a fancy way of saying they do thousands of different things in hundreds of different places. The client wanted us to fins a way of showing this on screen in under three minutes in an innovative way. They wanted their audience to be informed and thrilled at the same time. The wanted something quintessentially British that would travel internationally. Above all they wanted high impact, high quality and had very high expectations. Our solution was to introduce a James Bond style industry spy we portrayed as working for the competition and reporting to his superior in a high-tech lair. At the start of the video we sent him off to find out what he could about Randox. At the end he reported back and delivered their infamous new tag line, “Randox, dedicated to improving health worldwide.”

The Randox corporate video was scripted, cast and planned from our HQ in Leeds. Filming took place all over the world over the coming weeks. Our location scouts really delivered managing to deliver in four separate locations which were subsequently used in the latest James Bond film, Spectre. We even managed to close down the offices of The Mayor Of London for a day. Our post-production team went into overdrive setting a new standard in corporate videos graphics and developing some original new techniques that we have seen copied several times since! The creative results was astonishing and all commercial objectives were achieved for the client. Ten fold. Later that year a second shorter version of the video went on to win a European Export Award and brought tears to the Chief Executive when it was premiered at their AGM in Scotland.
